The dog approves!
So last night we took Cisco outside to check things out. We didn’t have to go far as the Hudson’s Bay is right outside our back door. She seemed to love the ability to run around with no fence and to be able to play in the water…..

The above photo is me and her. You probably had it all figured out anyways. We are about to live a once in a lifetime experience, The Great White Canadian Arctic. We have decided to create this blog to keep our friends, families and curious strangers abreast of our adventures. I'm sure a few misadventures as well. All while living in Chesterfield Inlet, Nunavut. Read on to see what it's all about!

Oh! And by the way, this is Cisco, our dog. Even though she likes to puke a lot, she's still part of the family and will partake in our adventure to the North. She'll be sure to keep us on our toes and keep the polar bears at bay! She's also good for a few laughs in between leg humping sessions. We still haven't figured out how to stop that...

Glad to see you guys made it safe and sound and it definitely looks like cisco is enjoying her new home. You sure don’t get alot of groceries for $100! LOL! Take care…

Je suis très heureux que vous soyez rendus. Évidemment il reste les bagages! Mais Cisco semble s’adapter très facilement à sa nouvelle vie. J’espère qu’il en sera de même pour vous. Je vous ai envoyé une lettre lundi matin (24 août), je serais curieux de savoir quand vous la recevrez.

Welcome to the north! I just read through your posts and it’s all very familiar. I am also an ‘RCMP wife’ living in Cape Dorset. We’ve been here a year already and it’s been a great adventure so far.
