What the Blizzard left behind…..

So today the blizzard finally let up. It was the first time in 3 days that we were able to see more than 3 feet in front of us. There are still blizzard warnings, but the weather here is pretty good. Our first Northern Christmas

Santa comes to Chester!!

On Wednesday we went over to the school to watch their Christmas concert. I have to admit it was very different than anything I’ve ever seen in a Christmas concert.  The first “act” was all about baby Jesus. They changed the story to make it based in Chesterfield! Christmas Baking

I’ve never really been a “Christmas Baker”. I do usually make drop shortbread cookies every year, but that was always for my enjoyment, not others! This year we decided to bake some goodies and box them to give them out to some of the people that we’ve met in the community. Supper made with love….
