I wish I had something interesting and fun to write about……but we haven’t really done anything “outdoors” this past week. If you really want to know what we’ve been doing,
A couple nights ago the town held a “Jam Night” to raise money for Haiti.
The results were revealed today. I just want to extend a THANK YOU! to everyone that voted. It was a very close race right from the beginning between Newbie and us. I think I can say it truly was a nail biter! We were up against some great blogs, all of which I read regularly.
I went out with a few friends today for a short ride on the land. Etienne decided to stay at home. Since we don’t have our own machine, I went in our friends Komatik.
We received a phone call this afternoon that there were a few caribou out by the community freezer. I grabbed our binoculars and went out the back door to have a look. Sure enough, I was able to see a couple walking around. They didn’t stay in view very long. By the time Etienne got outside they were gone. Oh well, better luck next time. Read more…

We have decided to create this blog to keep our friends, families and curious strangers abreast of our adventures. I'm sure a few misadventures as well. All while living in Chesterfield Inlet, Nunavut. Read on to see what it's all about!

Oh! And by the way, this is Cisco, our dog. Even though she likes to puke a lot, she's still part of the family and will partake in our adventure to the North. She'll be sure to keep us on our toes and keep the polar bears at bay! She's also good for a few laughs in between leg humping sessions. We still haven't figured out how to stop that...
