Pretty lights and funny games…
This year the RCMP were asked to judge the Christmas Lights. In total, 5 houses had their places all decorated. They narrowed it down to three, and decided first, second and third places from there. I had a chance to see two of the three houses. They did a great job decorating the houses. (more…)
Bringing in 2010 with a bang…
Well our New Year’s Eve was pretty low key. We invited a friend over for dinner. We had a wonderful meal of rouladen, mashed potatoes, gravy and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. We finished it off with homemade Crème Brulée. It was very good. (more…)

Us
The above photo is me and her. You probably had it all figured out anyways. We are about to live a once in a lifetime experience, The Great White Canadian Arctic. We have decided to create this blog to keep our friends, families and curious strangers abreast of our adventures. I'm sure a few misadventures as well. All while living in Chesterfield Inlet, Nunavut. Read on to see what it's all about!

Oh! And by the way, this is Cisco, our dog. Even though she likes to puke a lot, she's still part of the family and will partake in our adventure to the North. She'll be sure to keep us on our toes and keep the polar bears at bay! She's also good for a few laughs in between leg humping sessions. We still haven't figured out how to stop that...
