Wow….Really?
Well the nominations are in for the 2009 Nunies. We have made it to the voting round!!!
I am actually shocked. I did not expect to be in the running. We started this blog to keep our family and friends up to speed with what is going on in our lives. I had no idea the amount of people from all over the world that would actually find interest in our day to day lives up here. Now to be in the running with 4 other great blogs, just makes the cake. The top 5 blogs have made it, and now voting is open until January 21st. I have to admit that I regularly read the other 4 blogs that we are up against and I truly enjoy all of them.
If you want to vote, go back to the same website Nunavut Blogs and you will be able to vote there.

The above photo is me and her. You probably had it all figured out anyways. We are about to live a once in a lifetime experience, The Great White Canadian Arctic. We have decided to create this blog to keep our friends, families and curious strangers abreast of our adventures. I'm sure a few misadventures as well. All while living in Chesterfield Inlet, Nunavut. Read on to see what it's all about!

Oh! And by the way, this is Cisco, our dog. Even though she likes to puke a lot, she's still part of the family and will partake in our adventure to the North. She'll be sure to keep us on our toes and keep the polar bears at bay! She's also good for a few laughs in between leg humping sessions. We still haven't figured out how to stop that...
