Valentine’s Day Breakfast
Before anyone says anything, I know I’m late in posting this. On the 12th of February, the school organized a Valentine’s Day breakfast for the whole hamlet. We were recruited by the school to help out. The cooking started at 7:00 AM. That meant that I had to get up at 6:00 AM. It was the earliest wake up in a long time! We showed up at the school and mixed pancake batter and cooked bacon until 9:30. It was lots of fun and it seemed to have been a success There were very little leftovers. 14 boxes of Aunt Jemima is a lot of pancakes…
My posts are shorter than Carly’s! LOL That’s it for now…
Thanks Mike for the photo!

That’s a great pancake Ana!!! I wish I was there to eat all the tasty food….I’m not sad that I missed the 6am wake up call though!!
Good job Etienne, now that you saw how it is done you can cook them for Carly as a late Valentines gift lol Because I know how you love Valentines Day. lol !!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Mireille Lafrenière made heart shaped pancakes too. She has a mould to do it. Did you guys use moulds?
No molds, it was just Ana having fun with a few pancakes. The rest were standard round shaped.
hahaha… that heart actually looks like it’s broken! Now the question is… did you smell like bacon for the rest of the day?
Ps… I really like the picture of the machine you have on the top of your blog… who’s is it? They must be very cool!
