First honda ride of the year
We finally took our honda out for a quick drive yesterday evening. It’s the first time we’ve had it out since winter started. It was nice to get out and bomb around a bit. Not all of the roads in the area are plowed, but we were still able to drive around a take a few pictures.
It was a gorgeous evening (Only -4ºc). After driving around and seeing what we saw, I don’t know if I ever want the snow to go away. It really makes the scenery so impressive here. Don’t get me wrong, I can’t wait to take out the honda and just drive around, fish, go for walks, and i’m sure the dog will love swimming again, but for now I’m truly enjoying all the snow. With the warm weather this past week, I can already see how much the snow has melted.
I can tell spring is coming. I spent almost all day yesterday doing some “spring cleaning”. We are in the process of putting together our barge order and I needed to clean out our back porch area to have room to put all the stuff we will get. I can say that this years order will not be as big as last years. We still have things left from our last order. We did do pretty good with what and how much we ordered. We noticed a few things we did forget to order, so we’re going to make sure we get them this time.
I also spent the day deep cleaning the kitchen. I’m sure I have said it a million times before, and i’ll say it again….I DESPISE cleaning the oven. In Valleyview, the first stove we had was a non-self cleaning and when that one died, we bought another one that was self-cleaning. I vowed that I would never again own an oven that’s not self-cleaning. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed when we got here to find out that our oven was not self-cleaning. Oh well, nothing I can do. The house is provided for us, and it is a very nice place, so I won’t complain. Our next home will definitely have a self-cleaning!

Wow I am here first. That is amazing. The snow sure is deep and I bet it will be lots of fun on the Honda once all the snow is gone. More places to go than down the road. Better be careful it’s beginning to sound like you don’t want to leave that place.

I have yet to live in a house that has a self-cleaning oven (the one here isn’t as well) and I HATE HATE HATE cleaning the oven…someday I will live in non-government owed housing and the first thing I am buying is a self-cleaning oven!

The photos are great. The road looks really slick on that last one though. You look so happy in the Honda. Enjoy the spring.

Great photos. This really is the best time of the year. Lots of snow to hide the garbage, lots of daylight to play around in and warm enough to enough it. And soon eggs and seaweed, yum, oh and geese.
