Hondas and Celebrations
Yesterday we went out on the hondas. We decided to see if we could get Cisco to run along side us. As we were starting the hondas and getting ready to go, Cisco ran to the door and wanted to go inside. Once we started to drive away I saw her look at all of us and then decided to run after us. I was pleasantly surprised to see that she was more than happy to run. We drove around going as far as the roads would allow us. Because of the blizzard last week there were quite significant snow drifts, some we were able to cross, some not so much. For most of the trip, I was in the back and Cisco would “herd” us. She’d run to the front to see Etienne, then she’d stop and wait for me to catch up, and then run back to Etienne. At one point I was in the lead and she must not have noticed because we saw that she wasn’t around us anymore. Etienne turned around and found her running back from where we were, probably looking for me. From there I stayed in the back and she followed. We were maintaining speeds of about 20-30km’s/hr. It seemed like an easy pace for Cisco. When I pulled up beside her and cheered her on, we reached speeds of 40km/hr. I was impressed at how fast she can actually run. I think Cisco is still tired today. She’s hasn’t done much but sleep since we’ve been back.
Tiring her out ended up being a good idea. Since it is Etienne’s birthday soon, I decided to have a supper for him last night. Some friends came over and we enjoyed a great night with all of them. Etienne even got some amazing gifts! Thanks guys for making me look bad since I haven’t gotten anything for him! I just don’t know what to get a guy that has it all?!?! Below is a picture of one of his awesome gifts. Apparently this took 6 hours (or maybe 3 or 2….we don’t really know), and you can see that it must have taken that long from all the amazing craftsmanship that went into making it! (As you can see we had to “block” out some of it as it is inappropriate for me to post on here….Sorry)

Love the present! The cape is aces!
However, I’m realy curious about the censored part.
Great gift! Wonderful photos of Cisco.
Yeah for Cisco!!!!!!! I bet she had a blast running along side you. It is a great way for her to get exercise and the best part is, she is off leash and can run and run and run. What beautiful weather you are having now.
LOL Love the Etienne-shuk. Happy Early Birthday Etiennne!
Cisco had a wonderful time, I know that. George is the same way, especially when (if) we get snow down here.
Ah yes, an inukshuk to be proud of… truly a work of art to display for everyone to see????
” ‘appy berday to Etienne, ‘appy berday to you . . .’appy berday to Y-O-U!” almost the same song I heard on our local radio =)
