What the dog found….

Yesterday I took Cisco outside to play for a bit and while she was wandering around the rocks she came across a bird…..I thought for a second she was actually going to catch it! It got away though. After she chased the bird, she came back to where she found it and started sniffing around.  I went over to see what she had found…..and this is what I saw. (more…)

Aboriginal Day

Yesterday was National Aboriginal Day. The local RCMP BBQ’d hot dogs for the community. We even got to see them all dressed up in their Red Serge. Not a sight we get to see very often. It looked like they had a very successful turnout. I went for a while to check things out. I have included a few pictures I captured while I was there. (more…)

A weekend drive

This weekend we decided to take a drive out to first lake. Since I’ve been fighting a nasty cold, and have been basically stuck in the house for the past week, we decided this was a good chance to burn off some energy the dog has been building up over the past week.  (more…)

A Great day!

Summer is on its way!!

I can tell that summer is coming! Since we’ve had above freezing temperatures for the past while, the snow has been rapidly disappearing! This has made for some wet and muddy areas. It has also made me want to be outside more than inside. (more…)
