A Great day!

Yesterday, a few of us decided to take advantage of the above zero temperatures and drove out to one of the lakes in the area to hang out and have a picnic.  We even brought the dog with us. She seemed to love the run. We spent the afternoon just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful weather. There was hardly a wind (which is rare for Chester) and the sun was shining. We all brought food. There was enough to feed an army. With selections from cinnamon buns, chips, rice krispie squares to strawberries and popcorn. We all ate very well!

The kids got to play with bubbles, Cisco got to run around and sniff everything. We walked around and just enjoyed the nice weather and quiet environment. A couple of people decided to go for a walk on the snow. They didn’t know how deep the snow was and how soft it was. They sank quite deep. One person even lost her boot and they had to dig it out!

It was too bad that Etienne was on a course for part of the day.  Although, we were happy that he was able to join us in the afternoon. It was a well enjoyed day by all.

I cant wait until the ice/snow is melted and we can fish and enjoy hot dogs roasted over a fire.

Fun with bubbles!!

Fun with bubbles!!

Stuck...If you look close you can see her putting her boot on!

The food and Honda's...most important part!

Walking around

Having a quiet moment.....

Oh Four Socks… if only you were there too! What a great day… I think Cisco’s “smile” was probably the best part… from running and all the ‘goodies’ the girls dropped from the table!

Speaking of fresh fruit, how are your cherry tomatoes coming. Any flowers or fruit yet. It’s been nothing but rain here so my tomatoes don’t even have a flower on them yet. WE NEED SUN ! ! ! Looks like you had a great day.

I just look at the visitor map. I didn’t realize that existed. You have had visitors from virtually all over the world. That is so neat. And you have had almost 3000 visitors is the last nine months. That about 10 visitors per day on average. Impressive.
