My turn….

This was the first I’ve seen a meme. I have been interested to see who gets tagged in each one. I was quite surprised to see that Morena tagged me a couple days ago (Thanks Morena ;) ). I wish I could tell you why it has taken me this long to respond, but honestly I don’t have a valid excuse. So I will now answer her questions……

1. What is your dream vacation if money was no object?

Do I really have to narrow it down to just one? I would love to go back to Thailand. A girlfriend and I went quite a few years ago and backpacked through Cambodia and Thailand. It was an absolutely amazing trip! We both sponsor children from Thailand and I’d love to go back and see him again before he turns 18. I would also love to travel through Europe. Take a couple years off work and have enough time to really see everything. I would also love to travel to a tropical destination and just rot on the beach soaking up the rays and eating amazing food! I’d also love to take an Alaskan cruise…..and since seeing Angkor Wat there are so many amazing things on this earth that i’d love to see….The Colisseum, Great Wall of China, Mount Everest…etc…..I can seriously go on and on and on….

2. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

Hmm….I would have to say that I wish I was a little taller. 5’4 isn’t that short, but some days it would be nice to be just an inch or two taller…

3. If you could visit a time in history, when would it be and why?

That’s a tough one. There’s so many times in history that would be interesting. If I had to pick one……I finished reading  a book the other day called “Red Serge Wives” and there was a lot of talk about the early 1900′s. I’d love to go back and see what life really was like with no power, no running water, no cars…..What was life like without all the “luxuries” we have now?

4. What is your favorite thing about the place you live?

I love the solitude. I love knowing that there is nothing around us but land. No big cities, no loud noises, no pollution, etc. It is so peaceful here. There’s no stress, no rushing here, there, everywhere to get everything done in a day.

5. What do you think would be the worst job in the word?

I think that the worst job in the world is the job that you don’t love. I loved what I did when I was down south and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Every day I am excited to get back to work when the day comes that we move back down south. I couldn’t imagine dreading having to go to work everyday…to me that is the worst job in the world.

Thanks again Morena for tagging me. I won’t tag anyone cause the people that I would have tagged have already been.

Haha! I love your answer about living in the 1900′s. Have you not had a power outage in Chester yet? Then you have no running water, no power and live in a place without cars. Lol! Ok, not quite the same I know.

    Thanks for playing.

lol….We do have frequent power outages here…..next time we’re eating supper at candle light again, I will pretend to be back in the 1900′s…..That was a good idea ;)

Sounds like your dream vacation is anywhere in the world. I would definitely go back to Thailand with you one day. I would love to take my kids to see a culture completely different from Canada. Plus they would think all the monkey’s running around would be so cool as they are obsessed with monkeys.

Cool! Although I have to say… was thinking you’d answer a little differently;)
