Community Clean-Up
Yesterday the Hamlet had a community clean-up. Everyone gathered at the Hamlet at 1pm, divided into groups and spent the next few hours cleaning up the community. Christy and I went down and helped out for a couple of hours. Â Afterwards they had a BBQ and a draw for prizes for everyone that helped out. We ended up running behind, and by the time we got to the Hamlet, they were just finishing up. We talked to the SAO and from what she said, the clean-up was quite successful. There were a lot of prizes given out…..Airline tickets to winnipeg, a TV, bikes, etc.

Too bad you were late, those were some great prizes or would you qualify to win? Maybe only the locals would get the prizes?

We qualified, and it sounds like our names were entered, but I wasn’t expecting (or wanting) to win a prize.

Not even a trip to Winnipeg? I love it when you give us info on community life. There really seems to be a great sense of community up there.

Did the mister pick up garbage as well? Or was he looking for an app to do that?

I heard that he got down and dirty and helped clean up just like everyone else.
