Colorful Sunset
Last night Etienne looked out the window and commented on the color of the sky. It was bright pink.
We decided to go out and take a few pictures. We madly ran around trying to get the camera, tripod, dog, etc and drive out to a nice area to get a few good shots. We caught the end of the sunset. We’re hoping to go out more often and hopefully catch the entire sunset and get some really good shots.
Here are some of what we were able to get.

Nice shots!
I have been chasing around the same way many times… Now I never go anywhere without having at least the camera. The tripod certainly helps at times, but I’ve found that sunsets can be photographed quite nicely without it. Saves on the time it takes to get ready…

Holy!!! That is ONE sunset!!! Now, I would have to travel the world or something, but I think that the Arctic somehow has the best sunsets in the world? Maybe it’s the lack of distractions in the sky that REALLY directs ones attention to the sky, and ONLY the sky!!! That is just so beautiful!!!
I want to visit the north sometime! I will not commit to living there, but I would LOVE to visit!!!
