Impressive!
Etienne has been corresponding with someone from Arviat for work purposes. During one of their conversations they ended up talking about items that are carved and sold in town, one of them being crib boards that are carved out of caribou antlers.
From what he said, they were pretty impressive. He offered to get Etienne one. We had a friend from town here that had to go to Arviat for work, so we had her pick it up for us. I had a picture of what I thought it would look like in my mind, but there was no way I could have imagined what it actually does. It is so detailed, right down to the little “Shaman” pegs.
Etienne took the opportunity to use his new light box and took a few pictures of it. I think he’s more excited about the light box than he is about the crib board! lol.

The above photo is me and her. You probably had it all figured out anyways. We are about to live a once in a lifetime experience, The Great White Canadian Arctic. Oh! And by the way, this is Cisco, our dog. Even though she likes to puke a lot, she's still part of the family and will partake in our adventure to the North. She'll be sure to keep us on our toes and keep the polar bears at bay! She's also good for a few laughs in between leg humping sessions. We still haven't figured out how to stop that...
