Burn baby burn!
We took this video over a month ago. There are two reasons why it’s taken us so long to get it on the blog.
1. I am using a MacBook and it is my first time using a Mac. Etienne is still teaching me to use some of the applications. iMovie being one of them. We spent a good part of an evening editing all the videos we took, turning it into something that people would be interested in watching.
2. Etienne upgraded my computer to Snow Leopard. We had issues with it, so he uninstalled it. After a week or so he decided to re-install it again. Well, somewhere between all the installing and uninstalling, we have seemed to lost the video! Needless to say, I was a little unimpressed. So I struggled through iMovie and re-did the entire thing.
The video isn’t anything overly exciting, but I do know of one friend of mine who will appreciate it! So this is for you Melissa!! 
Once a week we take the garbage to the dump and burn it. In the beginning, it was new and exciting to go. Now, it’s just part of daily living. However, now that the bears are closer to town, I like to go and see if I can get a little glimpse of a bear.
Yesterday we took our garbage up to the dump and there was a large pile already there. We ended up burning the entire thing. Here is a picture of what it looked like.
Okay I have to say, I think the operator of the lighter needs more training! Ha ha That’s a whole lot of garbage & a whole lot of wind. Thanks for dedicating this to me, I appreciate it
Etienne even has experience at this from when he was in Grise Fjiord. He even has a video with bears in it at the dump.

It sounded like you were getting too excited about burning garbage. I was waiting for the wiener roasting stick to come out.
