So many comments!
So it was a secret but there was a contest for who would be the person to write the 200th comment on our blog. This milestone was reached this Halloween night by Darlie. Congratulations Darlie!! Your prize will go out in the mail as soon as you email us at contests(at)thearcticpost.ca with your mailing address.
For everyone else’s knowledge, there will be another prize for the 300th comment and maybe for other occasions too 
99 bottles on the wall… (or something to the effect of)
So the other day, while I was at work, Carly decided that it was time to do a bit of cleanup. Time for the bottles to meet their creator!!! (or end up at the bottle depot). By living in Alberta, I have learned that the process of getting your deposit money back for the bottles is not that easy. You have to sort them all and count them before you go to the bottle depot. It’s rarely open. Well, never opened when you want to go anyways. Here’s what the pile looked like. Carly must have thought it was photo worthy because she took a snap of it!

The above photo is me and her. You probably had it all figured out anyways. We are about to live a once in a lifetime experience, The Great White Canadian Arctic. We have decided to create this blog to keep our friends, families and curious strangers abreast of our adventures. I'm sure a few misadventures as well. All while living in Chesterfield Inlet, Nunavut. Read on to see what it's all about!

Oh! And by the way, this is Cisco, our dog. Even though she likes to puke a lot, she's still part of the family and will partake in our adventure to the North. She'll be sure to keep us on our toes and keep the polar bears at bay! She's also good for a few laughs in between leg humping sessions. We still haven't figured out how to stop that...
